Historic Rock Ford is closed for its tour season. Our 2022 tour season will be April 1 through October 30.
Guided tours of the General Edward Hand Mansion are limited to a maximum of 15 guests per tour. Mansion tours are approximately 45-60 minutes in length.
All visitors must purchase their tickets in advance through Yapsody. If you require assistance with the online admissions process, please call the Rock Ford Office at 717-392-7223 between the hours of 10 am - 4:00 pm, Monday - Friday.
Guided tours of the General Edward Hand Mansion are available at 10 am, 12 pm and 2 pm on Tuesday-Friday and Sunday and 10 am and 12 pm on Saturday.
Your ticket also includes admission to the John J. Snyder, Jr. Gallery of Early Lancaster County Decorative Arts located on the second floor of the Rock Ford Barn with entry through the Ann B. Barshinger Welcome Center. Guests may visit the Snyder Gallery before and/or after their scheduled house tour time. We recommend that guests allow approximately 30-45 minutes for their self-guided visit to the Snyder Gallery. Guests must be present on the piazza of the Hand Mansion at their scheduled house tour time. If you arrive after your tour start time, please report directly to the piazza door of the Hand Mansion to join the tour in progress. If you are more than 15 minutes late, you will need to reschedule. Please call the Office at 717-392-7223. The Snyder Gallery is open 10 am to 4 pm on Tuesday-Friday and Sunday. On Saturdays, the Snyder Gallery closes at 3 pm.

$15: Adult admission to the Snyder Gallery and guided tour of the Hand Mansion
$13: Senior (65+) admission to the Snyder Gallery and guided tour of the Hand Mansion
$12: Youth (6-17) admission to the Snyder Gallery and guided tour of the Hand Mansion
Free for children 5 years and under
We ask that visitors to Historic Rock Ford park in the parking lot at the main entrance. Several handicapped parking spaces are available at the Snyder Gallery and adjacent to the brick walk entrance to the Hand Mansion.
The Hand Mansion has stairs. The first floor and lower level are wheelchair accessible. Our museum shop is located on the lower level of the mansion.
Public restrooms are available in the Ann B. Barshinger Welcome Center. The Hand Mansion does not have public restrooms.
